everything in life has that whole pleasure/pain quality to it. with love it can be a combination of anxiety and fear, especially if the other person doesn't return the feeling; I can't remember who said it, but someone wrote that "the one who bears your love has the greatest power to inflict lethal bloodless wounds". *shrug* but love is beautiful if it's the real thing
